Children's Names and Profiles
	Name: Daphne Nakayenzi Age:5 Story: Daphne’s father left the family when she was 2. Her mother was living in the city of Mbale, but the husband continued to mistreat the family so the mother and daughter moved to Kampala. Daphne’s mother began volunteering as an usher at a church, and slept with another friend from the church. They would beg for money from people at the church and was clothes in exchange for food. Daphne was eventually placed into the Savior’s Orphanage Home and is an excellent singer in Sunday School.
	Name: Mugamba Robert Age: 7 Story: Roberts father abandoned him when he was very young. He mother had left even before that. He then went to the care of his uncle who was an alcoholic and often wouldn’t feed Robert.
	Name: Namuyida Mary Age: 7 Story: Mary was abandoned by her father at the age of 2. No one knows who her mother is. Her father was an alcoholic and left her in the care of her grandfather, who was also an alcoholic. He had no money to support Mary and was trying to support several other children.
	Name: Shella Age: 8 Story: Shella’s father abandoned the family when she was 4. The father left the home that they were renting, and her mother searched for him. Eventually the family was chased from the home for lack of rent. She went looking for shelter and eventually slept in a church for several months. She found some work of cleaning toilets and washing clothes for people. She scraped by a living for 3 years in this way, but was unable to pay for Shella’s school fees. She was then brought to SOH to live.
	Name: Nansimbi Ritah Age: coming Story: Ritah comes from a family of three children. Her oldest sister was married off just before her mother died. After her mother’s death, her father married another wife and the new wife wanted nothing to do with the kids. The father chased them away, and they ended up with their grandmother. The father eventually chased them from the grandmother as well and they ended up as street kids in Masaka. The kids tried to go back to their father, but the stepmother chased them away once more and she ended up on the streets again. A friend Ritah about the Savior’s Orphan Home, and she came to live there and has found peace.
image coming soon	Name: Kayana Robinah Age: coming History: Robinah’s father passed away when she was 4. Her mom then died when she was six. She was left with her grandmother who eventually died as well. Up to the point of her grandmother’s death, Robinah was taken care of and was enrolled in school. After that she was taken to Kampala and didn’t go to school again until she came to the SOH.
